How many shades are teeth whitened?
Magic Smile Home can provide results of up to 8 shades on the whitening scale with our Magic Gel and up to 7 shades with our Magic Strips.
IMPORTANT! During whitening, the accumulated non-white pigment is removed. Whitening occurs as the natural color of the teeth, but does not change the genetically-embedded color of the tooth structure. In other words, it does not add the white pigment, but removes the non-white pigment.
How long is the teeth whitening treatment?
15 minutes of the Magic Light Mini whitening is enough for significant results. However, for the best and longest lasting results, we recommend whitening for 30 minutes to see the red light benefits.
For the first 25 minutes, our Magic Light Mini uses the safest spectrum of blue light to activate the gel. For the remaining 5 minutes, red light is activated to help various dental and oral problems, such as reducing oral bacteria.
Magic Light Mini will automatically turn off after 30 minutes.
Is home teeth whitening effective, even if in-office bleaching was done a few months ago?
Yes, but only to maintain results rather than maximize the whitening effect. We recommend using home whitening to maintain the result several months after the clinical procedure.
What application has the quickest and most effective result?
After the first use of the Magic Smile Home System, 80% of customers will have a visible result. Home whitening works more effectively if you have done a preliminary teeth cleaning in the last 6 months. For a lasting, more significant result, undergo a full course of home bleaching rather than one application.
How often can home whitening be done?
A full course (1 bleaching session for 5-10 consecutive days) of home whitening can be done every 3 months. Single applications for maintenance can be done more often.
How long does the whitening effect last?
The whitening effect lasts from 1 to 12 months.
Any teeth whitening is temporary because the enamel is a porous structure. Pigment is constantly accumulating inside the tooth, while plaque accumulates outside the tooth. This slowly changes the color of the tooth.
How can I prolong the whitening effect?
Here are our recommendations to prolong the whitening effect:
- follow the exact instructions when using the Magic Smile Home Kits
- periodically schedule a clinical cleaning with your dentist
- follow a "white diet" after the procedure
- use Magic Foam regularly to keep whole mouth healthy
- use Magic Minerals to prevent tooth decay and enamel erosion
- maintain a healthy gastrointestinal tract
- avoid pigment-changing food and drinks, even after your “white diet”
- refrain from smoking
What is the “white diet” and how does it affect the whitening result?
The “white diet” involves abstaining from food and drinks that cause enamel staining.
Enamel is especially susceptible to absorption immediately after teeth whitening, while the whitening gel is still active inside the tooth for up to 24 hours.
Compliance with the diet is necessary to obtain the desired whitening result and prolong the changes.

Do I need to activate the whitening gel or strips with the Magic Light Mini?
Yes. For maximum results, the Magic Smile Home uses the Magic Light Mini LED Lamp, which activates the whitening gels and accelerates the teeth whitening process.
However, you can use the strips or the gel on their own, but be aware that this will not provide the maximum result.
Should you use home whitening if you have done Magic Smile clinical whitening?
Home whitening as a continuation of the Magic Smile In-office Treatment helps to achieve maximum results. It improves the bleaching effectiveness and lengthens the whitening duration. This helps to completely break down carbon bonds and achieve better and longer lasting whitening results.
We recommend that you consult your dentist before using Magic Smile.
Is it necessary to have a сomplex teeth cleaning before home whitening?
Yes. Complex cleaning removes dense plaque from the enamel surface, provides better penetration of the whitening gel and thus a better whitening result.
Is it necessary to brush teeth directly before applying the gel?
We recommend brushing your teeth with a paste or powder to remove plaque. This improves r penetration of the whitening gel and thus a better whitening result.

Safety & Contraindications
Do whitening gels harm enamel?
No. So long as it is used according to the instructions, our whitening gels are safe for enamel. Magic Smile Home gels are free from peroxide, abrasives and harmful additives that can damage the enamel. We strive to create quick and effective whitening without harm to oral health.
Does the Magic Light Mini harm enamel or soft tissue?
The Magic Light Mini emits a safe, cold-blue spectrum light and is designed to not overheat the pulp or overdry the mucous membranes and enamel. There is no ultraviolet light in the lamp.
How do I clean my Magic Light Mini?
The LED lamp is not waterproof as it contains batteries. Before cleaning the mouth tray once the procedure is finished, make sure you separate it from the Magic Light Mini, and then rinse the mouth tray with warm water.
What to do if I have excess saliva while whitening?
Accumulation of excess saliva while using our Magic Strips or mouth tray is normal and won't affect the result of the whitening. If you find that the accumulation of saliva is uncomfortable during your applications, simply expel any excess into the sink.
What happens if I accidentally swallow the gel?
The formula of the gel is designed following the best standards, with an acceptable pH level. Therefore, swallowing the gel in small quantities will not harm your health. If excess amounts are swallowed, call your nearest poison control center.
Can the teeth whitening be done if I have braces?
We recommend that you wait until your braces are removed before using Magic Smile Home Whitening as this may cause uneven whitening.
You may be able to use Magic Smile Home whitening with orthodontic aligner trays.
We recommend that you consult your dentist before using Magic Smile products.
Can teeth whitening be done if I have veneers, fillings or restorations?
Whitening is possible only with natural tooth tissue. Veneers, fillings and restorations have a different structure than enamel and are not cooperative with bleaching. In some cases, old restorations are suitable for bleaching when pigment has accumulated in the pores of the material; however, the material itself is unfit for bleaching.
Can teeth be whitened during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
To take the safest possible precautions, we do not advise the use of whitening procedures during any trimester, especially the first.
Is there an age requirement for teeth whitening?
Persons under 18 years old are not recommended to undergo whitening since the pulp has not entirely formed.
Who shouldn't whiten their teeth?
● those under 18 years old, since the pulp has not yet fully formed
● those with unrealistic expectations (for example, those with natural A2 teeth color expecting A1)
● those with tooth decay, enamel or gum disease, and tooth or oral infections
● those with tooth sensitivities, cracks, exposed tooth necks or erosion
● those with GERD or who have increased acidity, which leads to weakened enamel or increased sensitivity
● those with a significant reduction in enamel as a result of tooth abrasion
● those who have had any recent (2-3 weeks) dental work that involves curing or bonding (whitening decreases the effect of the bonding process)
● those who are pregnant or breastfeeding
Sensitivity & Remineralizing
Is there significant sensitivity after bleaching?
Teeth sensitivity rarely increases as a result of whitening with the Magic Smile system.s. As such, Magic Smile gels contain special ingredients to reduce sensitivity. After whitening, a desensitizer gel is used to strengthen the enamel and reduce the risk of hypersensitivity.
Is it possible to whiten teeth if teeth are sensitive to cold or heat?
It is possible, but with some preparation. The whitening process can exacerbate sensitivity if already significant. In such cases, we recommend using only Magic Smile Strips. Afterwards, be sure to carry out the enamel-strengthening procedure.
If the sensitivity is initially very high, then it is necessary to diagnose the cause and undergo the necessary treatment or take a preliminary course of remineralizing therapy.
What should I do if my teeth hurt the next day?
When using Magic Smile gels, such cases are extremely rare. Use Magic Minerals gel and ask your doctor for a pain reliever.
When should remineralizing therapy be performed?
To reduce the level of tooth sensitivity, immediately perform it after the whitening procedure.
For effective mineralization, perform it the next day as well since the whitening gel is active in the tooth structure for 10-24 hours.
How should I perform remineralization therapy?
Use Magic Minerals with hydroxyapatite (HAp), potassium citrate (PC), calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) for strengthening, mineralization and desensitization of the teeth. Use an individual tray with Magic Minerals Gel for 30 minutes at home. Do not activate the gel with any lamp.
Should the remineralizing gel be activated with a lamp?
No, there is no need to use a lamp for remineralizing therapy.

The U.S. Economy Shipping orders usually arrive within 5-8 business days.
The U.S. Standard Shipping orders usually arrive within 3-4 business days.
To expedite your delivery, you can choose express shipping (1-2 business days) for an additional fee.
International Shipping orders typically arrive within 2-4 weeks or 5-14 business days, depending on the destination.
International shipping charges are based on the rates of shipping providers (e.g., UPS, USPS, DHL). You can check the exact rates during checkout.

What happens if I entered the wrong address?
Please contact info@magicsmilehome.com as soon as possible. If your order hasn't already been processed by our warehouse, we may be able to change the address for you.
If your order cannot be delivered or returned to the sender due to insufficient or inaccurate shipping information, we may resend the order to the correct shipping address or your order may be refunded once we notify you that the order has been returned/received.
Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.
Can I edit or cancel my order?
Due to the rapid processing of orders to ensure prompt delivery, we cannot guarantee that orders can be edited or canceled once placed. If you would like to edit or cancel your order please contact info@magicsmilehome.com with the subject "Cancel" along with your order details in the email as soon as possible.
What is the return policy?
In the rare event that you change your mind about your purchase, you are welcome to return your product to us within 30 days of your purchase date; however, it must be unused, sealed, and in the same condition that you received it, including all original packaging and accompanying material.

Items returned without prior contact regarding the returned product(s) may not be properly identified. This may either prolong or nullify your refund. Any items shipped to an improper address, due to a failure to contact us for return information, will not be refunded or exchanged. Please follow the exact directions provided by our customer service team for your refund to be received and processed correctly and timely.
To be able to return a product, you must provide a valid proof of purchase.
For proof of delivery, please use a trackable carrier like UPS, USPS or FedEx.
Once the package is received, we will process your refund, minus the cost of the return shipping label. Your refund will be in the form of a prepaid Magic Smile gift card.
